The Ravemen TR500 USB Rechargeable Rear Light is great – very nicely made, easy to control and attach, and very bright. The arc eye-inducing 500-lumen output is actually reserved for occasional pulses in the 'Warning Flash' mode only, and all regular running is done at a far more reasonable maximum of 100 lumens.
I have used this for several rides now and it is SUPER bright and there are several flash patterns. It really does grab the attention of drivers and increases visibility. I like that it goes back to the last flash pattern that I used when I turn it back on and I haven't had to charge it again yet after several hours of use. I did not like how it attaches to my seat post. There's a rubbery bracket that looks like it's suited more for an aero post. I'm not sure if I did something wrong but it looks like it could shift around because it really doesn't sit flush against the post. I think a bracket would have been better for attachment instead of the rubber bands they use

The perfect light that is not a radar light
The light is very bright and has the auto turn off feature which has got to be a bonus… My problem was mounting the light on the seat post at a suitable angle. if your seat post leans back so does the light this focused the light downwards which in turn takes away the brightness facing rearward. I angled the rubber mounting with a very sharp blade, not really what I wanted to do… but it gave a better angle. I would have been happy to purchase an additional seat post mount with an angle adjustment but as far as I know they don’t exist? I also drilled the hook were the rubber band mounts to give a hole for a tether mount… my TR 500 front came will one fitted… the light could have been a lot better with little cost to the manufacturer with more thought going into it … otherwise a great light with ample battery power 👍
Light quality is excellent. Battery life is impressive.
But the new model comes with only 1 rubber pad. This pad is suitable only for rounded seat posts, not suitable for flat surface seatpost. Rubber pad quality is very good. I contacted Ravemen to receive a flat surface rubber pad, but they said they have discontinued that rubber pad.
Overall highly recommended product.
