Great Performance with A Few Flaws

The spec sheet on this light is finally what I've been after - a huge battery on a light that can be easily adjusted down in brightness. It's so bright that most situations I can use a middle setting for many hours but I can also flip it to the high beam when needed. The release mechanism works great, the remote switch is thoughtful, and the build quality overall is very good.

However, I rated it 4 stars for a couple reasons. The big one is the brightness levels and modes. I'm not sure what they were going for, but they have 5 brightness levels in a lowbeam mode and 3 in a highbeam and the user experience is a little frustrating. I'm not sure how to fix it, maybe just have 3-4 levels of highbeam to simplify it? Other annoyances are the mount didn't clamp to my bars even with the shim so I had to make the bar thicker with electrical tape and the little screen display on the light is useless. It shows the brightness level in tiny font in the corner and inexplicably shows the time front and center? I have a watch and a phone for time, I just want to clearly see what level the light is currently on and a battery level.

It's a great light and overall I'm happy, but the price point is so high it puts you into a really high class of competitors that you should consider as well. If I'm spending nearly $200 on a dang bike light, I'm expecting near-perfection for 5 stars and this falls a bit short of that.

Excellent My Favorite Light

Almost perfect! I have more expensive lights from NiteRider, Light and Motion, and Lezyne. None of them compare to the output, features, and beam pattern of the Ravemen PR2400 and other Ravemen lights. Bluetooth remote, an OLED screen, and more than enough light output. My only gripe is that the 7,000 Kelvin scale bulbs put out super white light whereas a slightly warmer 4,500 to 5,000 Kelvin would be much preferred for the human eye. However most of the other major companies also use to bright of a white color. But Ravemen beats all of them.

It's like riding during the day at night

This light is bananas. You can see clear as day in the middle of the night. Been riding MTB at night and haven't had any problems.

Two reasons it not a perfect 5:
- On the highest setting, this thing gets hottt. Definitely can't use it as a handheld flashlight on that setting. The others are fine.
- Turning the light off and on kills minutes of battery life. This is a weird one. If you leave the light on continuously all ride, the battery life timer ticks off in real time. If you turn it off and then turn it back on, you can lose up to 5 minutes (on max setting). Not sure why, but it's best to just leave it on if you take any short breaks.
