Light quality is excellent. Battery life is impressive.
But the new model comes with only 1 rubber pad. This pad is suitable only for rounded seat posts, not suitable for flat surface seatpost. Rubber pad quality is very good. I contacted Ravemen to receive a flat surface rubber pad, but they said they have discontinued that rubber pad.
Overall highly recommended product.

The unit is very well made and run times are excellent. USB C charging is also very convenient.
Unfortunately, the flashing patterns and the lenses used are such as to render the light much less visible than one would expect from a 500 lumen unit. I understand the need not to blind motorists, but in this case the light is simply not noticeable enough.
The straps provided are also barely long enough for my aero seat post and -worst of all- there is no provision for the angle of the post, which means the light sits at a downward angle, reducing visibility even more.

You really get noticed by these lights. They’re so great I ordered another one for backup. I like to ride a lot at night.

The light itself, is fantastic! Hard to get a good fit on the Cervelo S-5 seat post. The grommet for the Euro seats post does not fit well and the larger strap seems a tad short
