Good for dawn, not for full night

If you drive a Road bike and plan to ride with this light in the night you will recognize the light will not lighten more than 20m. This is not good when riding 30kmh or more.

It's good for tunnels and viability, also the power bank feature is great.

When I thought the FR160 was amazing, RAVEMEN went and made the 300!!

The RAVEMEN FR300 is a pretty solid bike light, especially for those of us who do a lot of city riding and want to be seen. It’s compact and lightweight, so it doesn’t add any bulk to your setup, and integrates perfectly under your GPS unit. The body feels durable, and it’s definitely built to withstand the elements.

With 300 lumens of flash, the FR300 gives you enough light for commuting visibility and low-light conditions. The beam is focused and does a good job of lighting up the road ahead without blinding anyone coming your way. It has multiple modes so you can adjust based on your needs. Plus, the side visibility is a nice touch for extra safety.

The built-in rechargeable battery is decent. You get about 1.5 hours on the highest setting and up to 10 hours on the lowest. Charging is straightforward with a USB cable, which is handy when you’re on the go.

Mounting is super easy. The quick-release system lets you pop it on and off without any hassle.

Overall, the RAVEMEN FR300 is a great option if you’re looking for a reliable, compact light for urban rides. It’s durable, user-friendly, and offers good value for the price. However, if you don’t need super visibility, the FR160 is a fantastic runner up.

Still unsure - daytime running on flash. No night time run yet.

Like most cyclist, I have had plenty of lights over the years. This was my first purchase of a light that is not one of the well known brands which can be found in a local bike shop.
So far it is still working. The 300 lumens is bright. It is very neat under the Garmin. It does switch off without me knowing...I don't do 6hr plus rides. Because it is so neat, there is no visible Q (LED) to let one know it's on or off. There is a single power button press which will indicate the battery life but that's on the side and not visible from the bars. The auto on / off feature works. My faith in the battery life is letting me down (and not letting me feel cool). It seems to drain faster than I would expect (even thought I have read the manual). I have other lights that just seem to last longer between charges, despite what is quoted in the manual. 12 months will tell better on the FR300. I will know then if this is a good relationship or not. I also got a rear light (bought the light set) but that will be a different review, if Ravemen ask me.
Make your own mind up to buy or not to buy.
